Privacy Policy
Data practices, image handling, rights, retention, and contact details.
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Toollix – Free Online Image Tools handles images and other information when you visit, use an image tool, or contact us.
1. Who we are
Toollix – Free Online Image Tools operates this website and is responsible for the information practices described here. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent through our faizanansari400@gmail.com.
2. Images and files
The image tools are configured for browser processing. Images selected for conversion, compression, resizing, or cropping stay in your browser and are not uploaded by the plugin. Preview and result object URLs are released when files are removed, the tool is reset, or the page session ends.
New JPG, PNG, and WebP outputs do not copy source EXIF metadata. This normally removes embedded camera details and location metadata. Keep your original because conversion can also remove metadata you wanted to retain.
3. Other information we receive
- Website and security data: The hosting platform and security systems may receive an IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events.
- Support messages: If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and related correspondence.
- Tool events: The image-tools analytics option is disabled, so the plugin does not create analytics events.
4. How and why we use information
We use information to deliver requested functions, respond to messages, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, meet legal obligations, and protect our rights and users. Depending on applicable law, these activities rely on providing the service you requested, legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, consent where required, or compliance with law.
5. Sharing and international processing
Hosting, content-delivery, security, and email providers may process limited technical or communication data on our behalf and may operate in other countries. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or during a legitimate business transfer. We do not sell image contents or personal information processed through the image tools.
6. Retention and security
Browser-held image data lasts only for the active page session unless you download the result. Optional HEIC fallback source files are deleted immediately after processing, with additional cleanup for abandoned files older than one hour. Anonymous rate-limit records expire after one hour. Hosting logs and support correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, support, legal obligations, and dispute handling.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, browser, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive personal information; object to or withdraw consent for certain processing; and complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may also request information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients and may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment. The image-tools plugin does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Send a request through our faizanansari400@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and complete the request.
8. Children and changes
The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the image tools. We may update this policy when our tools, providers, or legal obligations change; the updated date will appear above.
